The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2023 will be held on 20th August 2023 in offline mode. The exam will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in two shifts:
- Shift 1: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM
- Shift 2: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
The CTET is a national-level examination for teachers who wish to teach in government schools in India. The exam is conducted in two papers: Paper I and Paper II. Paper I is for teachers of classes I to V, while Paper II is for teachers of classes VI to VIII.
To be eligible to appear for the CTET, candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in education or a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a postgraduate diploma in education. They must also have completed at least two years of teaching experience.
The CTET is a very competitive exam, and the cut-off marks are usually very high. However, if you are a qualified teacher with a good academic record, you have a good chance of clearing the CTET and getting a job in a government school.
