Here are some additional tips for creating rules in Gmail:

  • You can use multiple criteria in a single filter. For example, you could create a filter that moves all messages from a specific sender with a specific subject to a specific folder.
  • You can use the “Has the words” and “Doesn’t have the words” criteria to filter by keywords. For example, you could create a filter that moves all messages with the word “unsubscribe” in the subject to a specific folder.
  • You can use the “Is larger than” and “Is smaller than” criteria to filter by message size. For example, you could create a filter that moves all messages larger than 10MB to a specific folder.
  • You can use the “Date sent” and “Date received” criteria to filter by date. For example, you could create a filter that moves all messages sent within the past 30 days to a specific folder.
  • You can use the “Starred” and “Unstarred” criteria to filter by whether or not a message is starred. For example, you could create a filter that moves all starred messages to a specific folder.
  • You can use the “Labeled” and “Unlabeled” criteria to filter by whether or not a message has a label. For example, you could create a filter that moves all messages with the “Work” label to a specific folder.
  • You can use the “Has attachment” and “Doesn’t have attachment” criteria to filter by whether or not a message has an attachment. For example, you could create a filter that moves all messages with attachments to a specific folder.
  • You can use the “Priority” criteria to filter by the priority of a message. For example, you could create a filter that moves all high-priority messages to a specific folder.
